MEET MISSY KERSHAW
My name is Missy Kershaw and I am the owner of Marketing With Missy. Helping people has always been one of my many passions as I've grown in business. Over the years I have molded myself to try anything I put my mind to and I truly believe anything is possible. I believe it is a blessing to be blessing to others and be able to help people connect with their passions and bring their vision to life.
I begin my e-commerce journey in 2016 and ultimately became a self taught graphic designer which transformed into full blown digital marketing by 2021.
Over the course of the last 6 years I have attained many accolades that show my credibility + have helped an array of people or transform their business.
I have gained hands on experience through 2 other e-commerce business + silent ventures outside of e-commerce that I own. Between the start of my business journey and now I have obtained an Associates of Business from Blinn College in 2017 and Bachelors of Business Administration in Management With A Minor In Marketing from Texas State University in 2019. In addition to this my education has not stopped. Outside the classroom I have continued to water myself through business coaching, readings, seminar and more.
If I could pin point the start of my spark for entrepreneurship my journey begin at age 5 helping one of my grandmothers friends clean houses and taking out trash in my grandmothers complex for money with my younger cousin. When I was younger my grandma had taught me how to sew by hand and later down the line high school I took fashion for 2-3 years and learned how to really do seamstress work and always loved it, but after graduating I never really cared much. Fast forward as I went through my first two years of college I begin to grow more into being business minded and I realized I hated working and I needed a hustle. My mom had breast cancer for the 3rd time when I started college and I would drive 2-3 hours between Austin, Temple and my home town religiously to take her to chemo or be there for her surgery's. It was taking up a lot of my time and I knew realistically having a job would not fit so I started a small skin care line. With my first business I loved the joy of making people feel good about themselves and regain their confidence, after I made my first 5 figures off of skin care with under 700 followers, I stepped back dived into my next venture. My friends and I had always talked about owning boutiques or a small store later in life, but I never really manifested it. I think that we manifest everything in our life, but manifestation without prayer and hard work is nothing. Over the course of this last year I’ve truly put in the work to build The Sultry Label.
My passion is business helping people and finding new ways to make money fuels me on another level.
Over the years I have acquired knowledge in many areas of business from education to experience and provide a marketing experience nothing short of top tier.
